About us
A team of optics, lighting technology and design.
Lidesplan is an engineering office for lighting design, lighting calculation, light measurement and luminaire development. Our team combines experience in optical development and optical design with hands-on lighting design practice – from a single luminaire to an entire city. For each project we assemble the right specialists and work closely with architects, specialist planners, municipalities and contractors.
The office is managed by Paul Rostand Ndjeundoun, M.Sc. (Hons) in Advanced Optical Technologies from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.

Are you independent of manufacturers?
Yes. Lidesplan does not sell luminaires and receives no commissions from manufacturers. Recommendations are based solely on standards, economic efficiency and your requirements.
How are fees calculated?
In Germany, scope and fees are based on the HOAI, in Switzerland on the SIA and in Austria on the fee schedule for technical offices. Smaller assignments such as measurements are also offered at a fixed price or per measuring point.
Do you also take on small projects?
Yes. We design or inspect individual rooms, practices, shops or single pedestrian crossings with the same care as large projects.
Do you also work outside Germany?
Yes. As a Registered European Lighting Expert we work in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands, among others, and in other European countries on request.
Which software do you use?
We produce photometric calculations and simulations with DIALux evo or Relux. Measurements are carried out with calibrated instruments.
